God has done amazing things at COTHI, but the most remarkable thing that occurs in our church is when lives are forever changed. Whether you’ve been a part of COTHI from day one or just joined us, we want to hear your story.

You may also use this form to submit prayer requests. The most important thing we can do for you at COTHI is pray. Every week we pray for the families of our church and the needs of those in our community. If you share a prayer request with us, we commit to pray for it and we believe God will answer. Nephews Healing
posted by: Crystal Hall on 12/31/2011

My name is Crystal and I've been asking for prayers and giving praise about my nephew Toby since November. He was diagnosed with an Anaplastic Medulloblastoma a couple weeks before his 6th birthday. He has since had a successful brain surgery removing all of the tumor (praise GOD) and he has started chemotherapy and radiation. He has a total of 30 treatments of this and is over halfway finished. He will receive a 6 week break for his body to heal before the chemo starts, which will last 6 months. We are praying for the MRI's and tests to keep coming back NEGATIVE. GOD has been so so so good to us and is showing us just what his hand can do. It's still a scary situation, as there are only about 500 cases of this in the U.S. each year and the 5 year survival rates are between 60-85%, depending on type of tumor, treatment, and complications. So he needs PLENTY of prayers continuously throughout his journey. It's going to be a very long and bumpy road, and I am SO grateful for everyone's thoughts and prayers already. I have been lucky to find a home at COTHI just before this happened and it has truly helped me beyond words. I am so thankful to each and everyone of you that are concerned and pray for him and our family and we will get through this.

Nephews Brain Tumor
posted by: Crystal on 11/27/2011

My nephew was diagnosed with a brain tumor on November 5th. A perfectly healthy little boy that had been sent home for 2 months with the diagnosis being constipation causing his headaches and vomiting. Refusing to leave the hospital with an instinct it was something more they admitted him and the next morning found the golf ball size mass pressing on his spinal cord stopping the flow of spinal fluid causing the headaches and vomiting. Thankfully God had us at the right place at the right time, he crashed as the neurologist walked in the door to examine him and they had to rush him to ICU to put a drain in his head to relieve the pressure. Had he been at home he probably wouldn't be here today. I spent just about every waking moment at the hospital and asked everyone I knew to pray for him. I peeled myself away to go to church, even though I wanted to be at the hospital, and I had someone pray with me about him. Monday the 7th they performed brain surgery and God was there with him, they got every bit of that tumor out! Praise GOD! Since the tumor was found to be a fast growing cancer they have to be aggressive with it and he will undergo radiation and chemotherapy. I know God has his hands all in this one showing off, letting us all see the power of prayer and the miracles He can perform. Toby has come through all of his surgeries and everything with a smile on his face. So thank you to all of you that have prayed and continue to keep him in your prayers! =)
Amen! 21 people are praising.

Dear Friends, I was unjustly fired from my job in September by the super of the building. I am currently fighting his decision through the Human Resource Department. Please pray that God gives me the justice and victory and that God's will prevails in this entire matter. In Jesus name. Thank you, Tony
