Our Purpose

Church of the Harvest International (COTHI) has been in the Clayton County community for 30 years. Our worship style is contemporary, blended with modern and classic hymns yet unwavering in speaking the absolute truth of God’s Word. Worship isn’t just a filler before the sermon; it’s the reason we come together!

Services occur each week in our sanctuary at 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM. Our weekend gatherings are our life-source. We worship God and study the Bible in a creative but relaxed atmosphere. We fellowship with one another, and we take care of one another. We give life to one another, and we learn what it really means to be a church.

We don’t just meet together on Sundays -- we spend time during the week together, too. Through connection groups that meet all over the region, we get together each week to have meals, pray, study, play and serve the Metro-Atlanta area.

Our Purpose

"COTHI exists to reach, connect and grow people through relationship with Jesus Christ and others."

The purpose statement of COTHI is derived from the final words of Jesus to His followers. These words are known as the Great Commission.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things I have commanded you; and lo I am with you always even to the end of the age. Amen.” (Matthew 28:19-20)

COTHI exists:

- To reach people with the message of hope through Jesus Christ.
- To restore them to the Body of Christ through the local church.
- To raise people to be fully devoted followers of Christ.
- To release them into their God given purpose and destiny.

You can learn more about our purpose as a church and how your gifts and calling fit into that purpose at our Next Step Class.
